Obtaining the required duration of transition processes in the M-D system is ensured by the appropriate changes in the voltage of the EV, supplied to the generator excitation winding. To reduce the duration of transition processes, this voltage is increased in comparison with 17 TST, while the causative agent of the generator (an amplifier that feeds its winding of excitation) is selected with the corresponding reserve of voltage.
