So, the density of cotton wool reaches 140 kg.cubic meter, while polystyrene is only 35 kilograms. The second drawback of cotton wool is the absorption of condensate, which threatens when insulation is done with violations, for example, due to imperfect leveling of the wall. Thus, condensate from human life, just like moisture of precipitation, can cause the destruction of not only the insulation system, but even at home.
