Each cable has a marking - a certain letter code. The fact that we are talking about control cables is easy to understand by the initial letter “K” - it determines its purpose. The next letter indicates the material of the cable (for example, copper or aluminum). The third sign determines the insulating materials: the rubber has the designation “P”, low density polyethylene - “P”, polyvinyl chloride plastric - “B”. The fourth (penultimate) letter speaks of what material the shells are made of (“p” - rubber, “st” is a corrugated steel tape, “n” - rubber that does not contribute to distribution). The last letter characterizes the cable shape itself. For example, on a flat cable they are marked "P", and the round is left without marking.
