The floor under any flooring should be moisture -resistant, aligned and without differences. A concrete screed may be a variant of such a gender, satisfying all conditions. Dry mixture for screed can be purchased ready -made, or you can prepare yourself. To do this, mix building sand and cement in a ratio of 3: 1, if there is a need to make a very thin screed (15 mm), add PVA glue. One useful advice: to get a homogeneous mixture, you need to pour a dry mixture into a container with water, and not vice versa. You can mix for 5-6 minutes manually or using a construction mixer. After a few minutes, a screed solution can be used. It is necessary to calculate the working hours, since the screed does not tolerate long breaks: the entire surface must be poured without leaving it at night. The right way will make a screed on the lighthouses. At home, if there is no way to buy special ones, even wood bars or guide profiles are suitable as lighthouses. Pouring a sufficient amount of solution for a surface with an area of about a meter, it is leveled by the rule. After that, the next section is poured. Gently pull the beacons and close the resulting recesses after you can pass through the screed. The screed dries for a long time, should go through at least a week before the stage of finishing, and to prevent possible problems in the future (drying out, cracks) this week will have to be periodically moistened.
